Yu Huang

Yu Huang is an experienced business leader currently serving as a Board Member at X1 Wind and Compact Membrane Systems, and as the Global Head of Venture Investment & Partnership at Technip Energies since September 2022. In this role, Yu Huang is responsible for scouting, evaluating, structuring partnerships, and investing in emerging technology startups to enhance Technip Energies' Vitality Index, while also being a founding member of the corporate venture team. Prior experience includes roles as Regional VP of Genesis at Genesis Energies, where Yu Huang led a transition to an Energy Transition-focused advisory business, and as a key figure in Technip Energies’ corporate strategy program during its spinoff. Other notable positions include leadership roles at Genesis Energies and New Voyage Energy Partners, as well as foundational involvement in the Asian Contractors Forum. Yu Huang holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business and advanced degrees from the University of International Business and Economics.
