Ir. Chung Heng Kong

Ir. Chung Heng Kong is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in offshore installation and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in offshore installation at Technip since October 2019, Chung previously held roles including Project Manager at Great Formwork Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included managing subcontractors and ensuring project execution in line with contracts. Earlier career stages included positions as Installation Engineer at Technip, Senior Structural Engineer at SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad, Project/Structural Engineer at Bumi Armada, and Structural Engineer at TL Offshore, focusing on structural assessments and installations. Chung began the engineering career as a Bridge Engineer at Sepakat Setia Perunding Sdn Bhd, overseeing design works for various infrastructure projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from the National University of Malaysia and A-Level/STPM from SMB St. Joseph Kuching.
