Nyaim Thu Aung

Nyaim Thu Aung is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Principal HSE Coordinator at TECHNIP OCEANIA PTY LTD since January 2024, Nyaim continues to oversee Subsea Projects as Project HSE Manager following a relocation to Perth. Previously, Nyaim held the position of HSE Manager at TechnipFMC since May 2015, with increased responsibilities compared to the earlier role of HSE Superintendent at Technip starting September 2012. Previous experiences include HSE Representative at Global Industries Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and offshore medical roles, beginning with Nippon Steel Engineering. Nyaim holds a Diploma in Work Health and Safety from CSTC Australia and multiple certifications in workplace safety and health, alongside a medical degree from the Institute of Medicine in Myanmar.
