Giuseppe Scarlatella is a Propulsion System Design Engineer at Pangea Aerospace since March 2025, focusing on the conceptual and preliminary design of liquid propellant rocket engines, including the KRONOS and CRYOX engines. Concurrently, Giuseppe has been an Early Stage Researcher and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Technische Universität Dresden since October 2020, conducting research on advanced nozzle concepts for reusable launch vehicles within the ASCenSIon project. Previous experience includes a guest researcher position at Elecnor Deimos, and roles as an aerospace and software engineer at Avio Aero, where Giuseppe specialized in software development for propulsion applications and engine performance evaluation.
