Melisande Alric

Melisande Alric is the Special Projects Lead at techNL, a non-profit organization that works to support and connect the technology sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. Melisande has also worked as an Administration, Finance and Tourism Coordinator at CDETNO, a non-profit organization that promotes economic development in the Northwest Territories. In this role, they were responsible for bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, administering budgets, and coordinating tourism marketing strategies.

Melisande has a background in accounting and finance, and has used their skills to help optimize finance management for both techNL and CDETNO. Melisande is passionate about promoting economic development in their home province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and has worked hard to establish partnerships with businesses and organizations across the province.

Melisande Alric has a graduate diploma in Canadian and Quebec immigration regulations from Université de Montréal, a masters certificate in project management from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a master of science in international development management and humanitarian action from Université Laval. Melisande also has a bachelor of science in international disaster management from Coventry University and a DUT in hygiene, safety, environment from Université de Caen Normandie. In addition, they have certification from Cégep de Drummondville in establishing services for emergency shelter and from Managers sans Frontières in human resources management in humanitarian organisations and Sphere Project - Humanitarian standards.
