Suman Ramkhelawan

Suman Ramkhelawan, MBCS, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Freelance IT Trainer for the Computer Proficiency Programme (CPP) at the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) in 2004. In this role, they delivered CPP courses in computer labs and managed the installation and maintenance of software used for the program. Afterward, they worked as a Freelance IT Trainer for the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) at the National Computer Board, Mauritius. During this time, they trained students and job seekers on foundational computer skills and increased the number of individuals with specialized IT skills in order to boost the ICT industry.

In 2007, Suman joined Micros Fidelio (Mauritius) Ltd as an Opera PMS and IFC Implementation Specialist. They provided enterprise application solutions and support for the hospitality and specialty retail industries. Following their time at Micros Fidelio, they joined Techno Q in 2015 as a Projects Engineer/Product Specialist. Techno Q is a leading systems integrator specializing in audiovisual, building controls, fire & security systems, lighting, IT, broadcast, and hospitality management solutions. Suman's responsibilities included designing, installing, testing, and maintaining integrated system solutions for various clients, including government institutions, healthcare organizations, and corporate clients.

Suman's career at Techno Q progressed, and they were promoted to the role of Senior Service Delivery Officer in 2017. They provided senior-level service delivery and support to clients. In May 2021, Suman was promoted to the position of Head of Service Delivery at Techno Q, where they currently oversee the delivery of services to clients.

Throughout their career, Suman has demonstrated technical expertise, project management skills (PMP certified), and a commitment to providing quality solutions and services to clients.

Suman Ramkhelawan, MBCS, PMP, holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering Projects and Management from the University of Mauritius, earned from 2012 to 2014. They also completed their high school education at St Mary's College from 1991 to 1998. In addition to their academic achievements, Suman has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Solution Engineer Specialist, Hotel Opera PMS Implementation Specialist, OPERA V5 PMS Professional Certificate, Project Management Professional (PMP) Study Facilitation Program, Opera PMS Certified Professional, IFC8 on Opera Basic, Fidelio Suite8 CRM and PMS Basic, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Certified Architect Professional, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
