Katja Hermes

Katja Hermes has been working in the music industry since 2007. Katja started their career at Ableton as a Marketing Manager and later moved on to Initiative Musik as a Project Manager in 2009. In 2013, they founded the Berlin office of Sound Diplomacy and became the Head of Projects and Director of the German office. In 2020, they became a Consultant for Cultural Spaces at the City of Berlin, Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa. Currently, they are the Strategic Operations Lead at CityLAB Berlin.

Katja Hermes attended Universität Trier from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Diplom in Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, and Anthropology.
