Karen Brochier has over 20 years of experience in treasury operations and deep technical and accounting knowledge in all areas of treasury management. She is currently the Treasurer for BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, where her role includes providing financing and liquidity for the company’s business operations and controlling balance sheet risk. Prior to this, she worked as Treasurer for Synopsys. Her earlier experience includes working for Bank of America Securities in San Francisco as a Treasury Manager, and for Raychem Corporation (acquired by Tyco International in 1999).
Her education includes a BA in Economics from UC Davis and an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
