Amanda Pieyre

Amanda Pieyre is a Senior Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute since June 2023, previously serving as a Methods Engineer at Safran from January 2020 to July 2023, focusing on engine performance and operability, particularly with the PROOSIS thermodynamical modeling tool. Amanda has a PhD in Combustion from Université Paris-Saclay, where doctoral research involved the stabilization and propagation of lean premixed flames, including a collaboration that resulted in a publication. Earlier experience includes a research assistantship during which preliminary literature review and experimental work on narrow channel combustion were conducted, and an CAO development internship at Airbus Helicopters contributing to the Virtual Maintenance Trainer project. Amanda's educational background includes a Master's in Aeronautics and Space from CentraleSupélec and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from ISAE-Supméca.
