Brigitta Malagurski Tortei

Brigitta Malagurski Tortei is a highly experienced researcher in the fields of biotechnology and neuroscience, currently serving as the Lead Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute since May 2022. Prior to this role, Brigitta held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich within the URPP "Dynamics of Healthy Aging" from June 2018 to April 2022. Brigitta's academic journey includes a PhD in Neuroscience obtained from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where research focused on the prognosis in acutely comatose patients using rs-fMRI and graph theory. Previous experience encompasses various roles in clinical and research settings, including as a Psychologist at an Adult Day Care Center for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia, where Brigitta facilitated therapeutic activities. An educational background includes both Master of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Neuropsychology and Clinical Neuroscience, and Psychology respectively.
