Darren Durkee

Darren Durkee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the defense and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as General Manager of Defense & Space Systems at TSC since August 2023, Darren leads initiatives in technical services and solutions with a diverse portfolio. Prior to TSC, Darren held the position of Vice President at SMA, Inc., where responsibilities included managing major defense contracts and overseeing proposal development for significant government projects. From August 2005 to April 2021, Darren was Division Manager at Applied Research Associates, leading the Capital Area Division and managing a large workforce to provide research and engineering solutions. Earlier in the career, Darren served as an officer in the United States Air Force from June 1983 to August 2005, specializing in aerospace leadership, C5ISR, and electronic warfare. Academically, Darren holds a BS in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from Boston University, and an MS in Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, where Darren graduated with distinction.
