Diogo Machado is a Fulbright - Schuman Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley, conducting research on high-risk/high-reward science and technology policy cooperation. Prior to this, Diogo has held roles such as Economist/Policy Analyst at OECD, Research Associate at INSEAD, Visiting Researcher at University of Toronto, Research Assistant at Bruegel, Student Researcher at Nova School of Business and Economics, and Student Research Assistant at ISEG. Currently, Diogo serves as the Head of the Group's Data Science Unit at Technopolis Group and also holds the title of Senior Economist, specializing in policy evaluations of science and technology programs using econometric and data science methods.
