Sebastiano Spinelli

Sebastiano Spinelli is an experienced professional in the optics and engineering sectors, currently serving as Planarization Manager and previously as Process Engineer at Technoprobe since August 2022. Prior to this, Sebastiano held several roles at Media Lario Technologies from August 2010 to August 2022, notably as Polishing Process Engineer and Project Manager, where responsibilities included the assembly of eight X-ray telescopes for the eRosita space mission. Additionally, Sebastiano contributed to metrology, assembly, and gluing processes for telescope mirrors and served as Integration Process Engineer in the same project. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, focusing on mm-wave optical components for CMB experiments. Sebastiano holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics and Astronomy from the same university.
