Yung Hao Lai

Yung Hao Lai has diverse work experience in the field of camera and imaging technology. Yung Hao started their career as a Firmware Engineer at Pacific Image Electronics Co., Ltd., where they developed camera control functions and driver controls for CCD cameras. Yung Hao also worked on integrating controls for medical equipment.

After that, Yung Hao Lai joined Hon Hai Precision as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they focused on developing auto exposure and auto focus camera control functions. Yung Hao also fine-tuned camera sensor performance and designed various camera functions.

Later, they joined 光锋科技 as a Software Design Engineer and Technical Project Manager. In this role, they led multiple optical test machine design projects, covering both hardware and software aspects. Yung Hao also developed image testing algorithms and proposals for camera systems.

Following that, Yung Hao Lai worked at GoerTek Inc. as a Firmware Engineer and Technical Project Manager, where they managed the development of camera hardware systems and testing software for doorbell products. Yung Hao also collaborated with cross-functional teams for system reviews and troubleshooting.

Currently, Yung Hao Lai is working at Techpoint, Inc. as an ISP Senior Application Engineer. Yung Hao is responsible for the development and application of ISP+TX for automobile cameras. Yung Hao has experience in signal/image processing and has developed camera algorithms.

Throughout their career, Yung Hao Lai has demonstrated expertise in camera system development, hardware and software design, algorithm development, and image quality testing.

Yung Hao Lai's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at Da-Yeh University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from 1998 to 2002. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Information Engineering from 2002 to 2005. Later, Yung Hao Lai attended National Taipei University of Technology, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2017. Yung Hao'sfield of study throughout their education has been focused on information engineering and electrical engineering.
