Gary Matthis

Gary Matthis has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Gary most recently served as the Vice President of Strategic Services and IT Transformation at Techstra Solutions starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at ConsultUSA from 2019 to 2022, where they managed multiple IT transformation projects. From 2015 to 2019, Gary was the Managing Director of the Project Management Office at Duquesne Light Company, overseeing strategic projects and initiatives. Before that, they held various roles at PNC, including SVP of Technology Infrastructure Services and SVP of the Strategic Initiatives Office. Gary also has experience in IT systems solution delivery as the Director at Del Monte Foods and as a Director at Deloitte Consulting prior to that. Gary began their career as a Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants and Andersen Consulting.

Gary Matthis earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia, which they attended from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and received a College Preparatory diploma from Hampton Roads Academy, from 1980 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Gary has pursued various certifications related to Scrum Master Training and Agile Methodologies through online platforms such as Coursera and LinkedIn.
