Derek Dieter

Derek Dieter has extensive work experience in various data-related roles. Derek is currently working as a Sr. Director of Data Science at TechStyle Fashion Group since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Just Fabulous as a Sr. Data Architect from 2011. At Just Fabulous, they were responsible for scaling SQL Server, leading a team of engineers, and creating production-level machine learning algorithms using Azure ML. Derek also implemented Elasticsearch.

Before joining Just Fabulous, Derek worked as a Sr. Director of Data Science at Techstyle, Inc. and as a Director of Data Architecture at JustFab Inc. Derek also owned their own company called SQL Server Planet.

Earlier in their career, Derek worked as a Database Architect at DaVita, where they created a rules processing engine using SQL 2008. Derek also worked at Lasalle Bank as a Data Architect / Special Projects - Officer, where they were responsible for application development, database administration, and database architecture.

Derek began their career as a Database Developer/DBA/Data Warehouse at ResMAE Mortgage. Derek also worked as a Director of Technical Support at activePDF and as a drafter at fleetwood Ent.

From 2006 to 2007, Derek Dieter attended the Computer Learning Center, where they pursued a Technical degree with a focus on Programming & Databases.
