Ratnadeep Bhattacharjee

Ratnadeep Bhattacharjee is the Co-Founder and Managing Director at TechVariable. Ratnadeep has also worked as an R&D intern at Valeo from May 2014 to November 2014, where they were responsible for getting aquainted to the prevailing techology based products and understand their technicality. Their major project was the FEA analysis of a rectangular riveted joint used in back plate of a pendulum absorber assembly. First, the riveting process was simulated using the bulk forming FEA software like FORGE and then fatigue analysis was performed on the joint post-riveting. The main aim was to establish a methodology for this kind of analysis so that the effect of residual stresses induced during riveting can be included in the fatigue analysis. Ratnadeep also completed live projects from clients, such as performing static analysis on a riveted joint for a torque converter (drive plate and hub assembly) to ensure the joint can endure a given number of cycle, and meshing of various parts of torque converter. Prior to their work at Valeo, Ratnadeep Bhattacharjee worked as a summer trainee at Indian Oil Corporation Limited from June 2010 to July 2010.
