Amber Johnston-Billings

Vice President, Communities, Government Affairs and HSEC Systems at Teck

Amber Johnston-Billings is the Vice President of Communities, Government Affairs and HSEC Systems at Teck. Amber has a long history of working in sustainability and climate change, dating back to their days as a Research Fellow for the United Nations University. Amber has also worked as the Head of Sustainability and Reporting for South32, and as a Director for Climate Change and Sustainability at KPMG Australia. In their current role at Teck, Amber is responsible for leading Teck's efforts to build strong relationships with Indigenous communities, governments and local stakeholders. Amber is also responsible for ensuring that Teck's operations meet the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.

Amber Johnston-Billings has a Masters in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from The University of Western Australia, a Diploma in Climate Policy and Carbon Management from West Coast Institute of Training, and an Honours in Psychology from The University of Western Australia. Amber also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology & Economics from Macquarie University.
