Amparo Cornejo

Amparo Cornejo is the Vice President of Chile, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs at Teck. Amparo has over ten years of experience in managing corporate communications, public relations, and government affairs. Amparo also has experience in social responsibility andpresiding over corporate social responsibility committees. Prior to their current position, they were the Gerente de Asuntos Públicos y Gubernamentales at Methanex Chile. In this position, they were responsible for managing corporate communications, public relations, and government affairs. Amparo also presided over the corporate social responsibility committee and was a member of the Chilean Canadian Chamber of Commerce. At the global level, they were a part of the Methanex Corporation's public policy, communications, and social responsibility teams.

Amparo Cornejo studied at the colegio The Grange before completing a licentiate degree in periodismo at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
