Cassandra Spence

Cassandra Spence is a seasoned professional in mineral process engineering with significant experience in various managerial and specialized roles at Teck Resources Limited since October 2013, including Manager of Mineral Process Engineering and assignments as Deployment Specialist at Red Dog Operations and Manager of Processing Automation for RACE21. Prior to this, Cassandra held the position of Senior Mill Metallurgist at Hudbay Minerals Inc. from 2006 to September 2013 and worked as a Technical Writer for the Northern Sector Council, contributing to a comprehensive training manual for mineral processing operators. Earlier experience includes roles as Mill Metallurgist and Process Engineer at Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Co., Limited. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering from Queen's University, where studies were completed from 1996 to 2000.
