Enrique Castro Gatica is an experienced executive in the mining industry with over 30 years of expertise. Currently serving at Teck Resources Limited since November 2011, Enrique holds the positions of Executive and Gerente General, overseeing operations involving 1,600 personnel. Previously, Enrique held roles such as Gerente de Operaciones and Gerente de Mina, managing large teams and substantial annual budgets. Enrique's experience also includes a specialized internship at Highland Valley Copper, Canada. Earlier career positions were held at Compañia Mantos de la Luna and Cemin Dos Amigos, where Enrique was responsible for various aspects of mining operations. Enrique holds degrees in Mining Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile and Civil Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Atacama.
