Marty Hafke

Marty Hafke has extensive experience in environmental management and water treatment, currently serving as Superintendent of Environment Water Treatment at Elk Valley Resources since July 2024. Prior to this, Marty held various roles at Teck Coal Limited from April 2014, including Acting Manager of Environmental Performance, Superintendent of Environment for Water Operations, and Senior Environmental Coordinator. Previous experience includes Regional Weed Coordinator at East Kootenay Invasive Plant Council, Environmental Officer at Teck Coal, and Land Supervisor at Tembec Industries Inc. Marty has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Western University and demonstrates strong skills in public relations, problem-solving, compliance, and strategic planning.
