Matthew Petrovich

Matthew Petrovich, PE, currently serves as Manager of Surface Facilities at CONSOL Energy, overseeing project engineers and managing substantial contracts related to coal mining infrastructure. With a foundational career beginning as a Research Assistant at West Virginia University, Matthew advanced through roles including Sr. Project Engineer and Geomechanical Engineer, gaining extensive experience in project management and engineering support for surface and underground construction. Prior experience at Patriot Coal Corporation as a Project Engineer contributed to a robust background in project oversight and contractor management. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Penn State University.
