Scott Maloney

Vice President, Environment at Teck

Scott Maloney is the Vice President of Environment at Teck. Scott has over 20 years of experience in environmental management, auditing, and policy development. Scott began their career as a Manager at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA), where they led the team responsible for environmental regulation of Melbourne's principal industrial area. In 2007, they joined BHP as the Lead HSE Assurance and Review. In this role, they developed and implemented a HSE assurance program for BHP Billiton's South American mining and exploration activities. Scott is a highly respected leader in the environmental field, with a passion for protecting the environment and ensuring sustainable development.

Scott Maloney has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Hons. from Monash University.

Scott Maloney reports to Marcia M. Smith, SVP, Sustainability and External Affairs. Scott Maloney works with Amparo Cornejo - Vice President, Chile, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Amber Johnston-Billings - Vice President, Communities, Government Affairs and HSEC Systems.
