Vanessa Vázquez

Vanessa V. is the Owner of Ronkita Design, a full-service sewing studio established in November 2014, offering design, custom sewing, manufacturing, sewing classes, and sewing machine maintenance services. Since January 2020, Vanessa serves as a Sewing Instructor at Austin Community College, developing curriculum and teaching classes both in-person and virtually in the Fashion Design Program. Previously, from August 2012 to February 2017, Vanessa worked as a Sewing Instructor and Machine Technician at Stitch Lab, where responsibilities included curriculum development, instruction for adults and children, private lessons, and machine maintenance. Vanessa holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. Edward's University.
