Itzel Eguiluz

Global Health Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey

Itzel Eguiluz, PhD, currently serves as an adjunct professor at NYU, teaching "Migration and Cultural Diversity in Spain: Anthropological Perspectives," and as a professor at Universidad Nebrija for "Global Health Perspectives." Since July 2017, Itzel has been a Global Health Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where responsibilities include lecturing and coordinating a national Global Health course. Additional roles include adjunct professor at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, lecturer at UNIE Universidad, and associate editor for the Journal of Migration and Health. Itzel is a founding member and academic activities coordinator for Mujeres en Salud Global México and an independent consultant researcher focused on migration and health topics. Educational background includes a PhD in International Migrations and Social Integration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, alongside a Master of Science in Reproductive Health and a diploma in HIV/SIDA from Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública.
