Sofia Diaz Rivera

Sofia Diaz Rivera is a Sustainability Senior Manager at Danone since 2020, where responsibilities include the development and implementation of sustainability strategies focused on carbon and water footprint reduction in Mexico. Previously, Sofia held multiple leadership roles at Danone and Bonafont, driving initiatives in sustainability, circular economy, and sustainable sourcing, achieving notable results such as sourcing 20% of milk from family farms. Sofia also serves as a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and has a background in brand management with experience at Hasbro de Mexico, The Coca-Cola Company, and Bonafont. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MSc in Environmental Entrepreneurship from the University of Strathclyde, and a Circular Economy Master Class from the University of Exeter Business School.
