Tecnomeccanica was founded in 1945 as a company specializing in the production of die-cast aluminum-alloy components. Over the years, the production has constantly expanded thanks to the construction of a new plant for powder coating and vacuum metallization of aluminum reflectors. 
Today the main products are metallized aluminium reflectors for vehicle headlights and heat sinks for led lighting.
In 2016 DeA Capital Group, has invested in Tecnomeccanica S.p.A. in order to wide products and services. In June 2018 Tecnomeccanica has acquired 100% shares of MEA srl from OLSA spa.
