Matthew Murdough

Matthew Murdough has extensive experience in the fields of space research and program management. Matthew began their career in 1990 as a Research Physicist at the Air Force Research Laboratory and later held various leadership positions within the United States Air Force, including Chief, Monitoring Operations at the Air Force Technical Applications Center and Chief, Radioactive Gas Analysis Laboratory. In 2016, they joined Tecolote Research as the Chief Scientist of the Space Programs Group. Notably, Matthew served as the Program Manager for the Joint Space Operations Center Mission System (JMS), overseeing the development and fielding of a $1.6 billion joint command and control system for space. Matthew also implemented the Agile IT methodology and successfully integrated complex software systems.

Matthew Murdough has a strong educational background in physics and program management. Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the United States Air Force Academy, graduating in 1990.
