Mark Volante

Mark Volante has extensive experience in operations and management roles. Mark currently serves as the Plant Director at Tecomet, Inc, overseeing the daily operations of a facility manufacturing medical devices. Prior to this, they held the position of Plant Manager at A.W. Chesterton Company, where they managed a multi-shift manufacturing operation. Mark has also worked at BAE Systems, where they served as an Operations Program Manager and Value Stream Manager, among other roles. Additionally, Mark has experience in purchasing and planning as a Purchasing Buyer/Planner at High Liner Foods. Mark began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Operations Officer, responsible for logistics and operations management.

Mark Volante holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategic Innovation from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they completed Officer Candidate School in 2009, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership, and the United States Army Field Artillery School in the same year, specializing in Artillery Officer training. In 2008, Mark Volante earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. Mark has also obtained additional certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute in 2019 and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of Rhode Island in 2014.
