Tecovas is looking for a Retail IT Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting the growth and operations of our retail fleet. Reporting to the Retail IT Manager, you’ll manage and support the technology systems and devices that power our retail stores, helping to ensure a seamless experience for our employees and customers.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX. Candidates must be willing to engage in a flexible work schedule that will include on-call support for the retail store fleet.

What you’ll do:

  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure across the retail fleet, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Provide hands-on IT support for new store openings, including device setup, networking, and configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner to minimize store downtime.
  • Manage the provisioning, deployment, and maintenance of retail devices, including POS systems, printers, and tablets.
  • Oversee retail network configurations, ensuring secure and reliable connections for each location.
  • Work with third-party vendors for services such as networking, hardware repairs, and software troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for retail IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide frontline IT support for store teams, maintaining excellent customer service during issue resolution.
  • Build and participate in an on-call support schedule to address urgent retail IT issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve system monitoring, updates, and compliance processes.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support Store Openings and Retail initiatives

Experience we’re looking for:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role, ideally in a retail or multi-location environment, or in retail operations.
  • Familiarity with device provisioning, management tools, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with POS systems, printers, tablets, and related hardware.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Knowledge in diagnosing and resolving macOS and iOS hardware, software, and network issues
