John Fernandez

John Fernandez has seven years of work experience. John started their career in 2017 as a Lab Assistant at the Pechenik Lab in the Tufts Department of Biology. In 2018, they worked as a Lab Assistant at the Fuchs Lab in the Tufts Department of Biology and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Neuromechanics and Biomimetic Devices Lab at Tufts University. In 2019, they held the role of Immuno-Oncology Intern at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. and Textiles Intern at Evolved By Nature, where they prepared coating solutions and applied them to textiles. In 2020, they worked as a Research Associate at Visterra Inc., where they constructed Yeast Phage Display libraries, enriched and sorted for individual hits to soluble protein targets, and maintained cell lines for use in cell-based assays and protein production. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc.
