Adam Burk

Adam Burk serves as the Director of Intentional Philanthropy and Executive Director of the New England - Peter Alfond Foundation, where responsibilities include directing strategy, program development, and grantmaking to foster educational and wellness opportunities. Burk is also the Chief Experience Officer at Adam Burk + Co, specializing in design thinking and storytelling, and produces events for TEDxDirigo to promote innovation in Maine. Previous roles include serving as a District 3 Representative on the Portland School Board of Education, Senior Program Director for Economic and Community Development at the Maine Development Foundation, and Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Portland Hub under the World Economic Forum. Burk's educational background includes a Master of Education in Character Development and Self-directed Learning from Goddard College and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and History from Thomas Edison State University.
