Prasanna Bandara

Prasanna Bandara serves as the General Manager of Group Supply Chain and Centre for Business Excellence at Teejay Lanka PLC since July 2021, also holding the position of General Manager Operations at Teejay PLC since January 2018. With extensive experience in the textile industry, Prasanna held the role of Head of Operations at Brandix Textile Ltd from February 2014 to January 2018, focusing on operational strategies and quality assurance. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager at North Sails from March 2010 to February 2014 and as an Engineer at MAS Holdings from March 2004 to March 2010, where Prasanna managed production and technical departments. Academically, Prasanna holds a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Moratuwa and the University of Wolverhampton respectively, alongside a BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
