Connor Givens

Connor Givens has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Connor is currently working as a Senior Accountant at InvestCloud Financial Supermarket™ (formerly Tegra118) since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at EY as an Audit Manager from October 2020 to May 2021, a Senior Auditor from October 2016 to September 2020, and a Staff Auditor from July 2014 to September 2016.

Before their time at EY, Givens worked at Joyce's Subs and Pizza as an Assistant Manager/Server from August 2005 to July 2014. In this role, they demonstrated leadership by managing a team of five high school students and was responsible for inventory analysis and purchasing, as well as designing catering menus and daily specials.

Givens also gained experience in finance and accounting as a Finance & Accounting Intern at Max Mirani from September 2012 to December 2012. Here, they established the company's accounts on QuickBooks online, identified best practices for maintaining accounting books, and managed inventory reporting and income reconciliation using Excel and Big Commerce.

Prior to that, they worked as an Accounting Assistant at Givato Enterprises LLC from May 2012 to August 2012. In this role, they prepared spreadsheets to evaluate monthly net income, calculated payroll and tip-outs for employees, and handled accounts receivable and accounts payable calculations and tax filings.

During their time at Rutgers, Givens worked as a Student Assistant at Rutgers Career Services from September 2010 to May 2011. Here, they scheduled appointments for students, interacted with prospective employers, and designed promotional materials for career events using Publisher and Word.

Connor Givens pursued their education at Rutgers University, Rutgers Business School, from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting. Connor then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Financial Accounting at Rutgers Business School from 2013 to 2014.
