Edward Gudas

Edward Gudas has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Edward began their career as a Lead Facilitator at TOUCH OF NATURE, where they organized conferences and led team-building activities. Edward then worked as a Program Facilitator at The POWER Program before joining The City of Lake Forest as a Ridge Facilitation Manager, where they managed and coached facilitators and collaborated with executives to improve group dynamics.

Edward then transitioned into the sales industry, starting as a Sales Associate at Erehwon Mountain Outfitter. In this role, they advised clients on products and trained new staff. Edward later joined Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor, where they managed financial planning for over 220 portfolios and advised clients on suitable investments.

Edward then moved into banking, first working at BMO Harris Bank as a Personal Banker, where they advised customers on personal banking strategies. Edward then transitioned to BMO Wealth Management - U.S. as a Private Wealth Advisor, where they onboarded and coached employees and focused on employee succession development.

Edward then joined RetireUp as an Account Executive, where they coached financial advisors and insurance agents on retirement income planning. Edward continued this role when the company became Tegra118, and later InvestCloud Financial Supermarket.

Edward'smost recent role is an Independent Insurance Agent at Gudas Financial, where they review and analyzes existing policies and provides assistance with claims and policy adjustments to protect assets and minimize risks. Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated strong interpersonal and coaching skills, along with a focus on customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives.

Edward Gudas has a diverse educational background. Edward started their education at Seth Paine School from 1978 to 1983. Afterward, they attended St. Francis de Sales school from 1983 to 1987. Upon completing high school, Edward went on to Lake Zurich High School and graduated in 1991 with a general degree.

Edward continued their education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Programming. Edward then pursued further education at Aurora University from 2002 to 2007 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Recreation Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Edward Gudas has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they obtained a Series 66 License from FINRA. Edward also acquired a Series 7 License from FINRA in the same year. Recently, in 2021, Edward obtained certifications as an Insurance Agent in Property & Casualty, as well as in Term Life, Whole Life, Universal Life & Fixed-Indexed Annuities from the Illinois Department of Insurance.
