Seyed-Farzad Mohammadi

Seyed-Farzad Mohammadi is a Senior Clinician Scientist at Farabi Eye Hospital, part of Tehran University of Medical Sciences since February 2009, specializing in ophthalmic research, education, and patient care. In addition to this role, Seyed-Farzad has served as a Trachoma Grader and a Blind Sports Classifier in private practice, and has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Archives of Persian Ophthalmology and the founding Editor of The Ophthalmic Nurse since 2011. As the Lead Founder and Director of the Shams Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Festival, Seyed-Farzad also plays a significant role in organizing annual events. Seyed-Farzad directs the Translational Ophthalmology Research Center and has contributed as a Member of the Research Ethics Committee at Farabi Eye Hospital. With a medical diploma and a Master of Science in Public Health from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Seyed-Farzad’s work emphasizes ophthalmic epidemiology, translational research, and national health initiatives.
