Jan-Olof Eriksson

Jan-Olof Eriksson has extensive experience in healthcare and digital communication, currently serving as Vastaava viestintäasiantuntija and somemanageri for Tehy ry since August 2011, where representation of healthcare professionals is key. As an entrepreneur at Osku Interactive since 2008, Jan-Olof Eriksson has managed various online services and projects. Ownership and community management at Hoitajat.net, the largest online community for nursing professionals in Finland, has been maintained since 2002. Previous involvement with the openSUSE Project from 2006 to 2017 contributed to promoting Linux and open-source software. Early roles included a registered nurse at Helsinki University Central Hospital, along with support and emergency medical services at Simple Machines and Vantaan sairaankuljetus Oy, respectively. Jan-Olof Eriksson holds degrees from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and the Vocational Education Institute of Northern Central Finland.
