Carlos Capela

Carlos Capela is a Product Assurance Engineer at Tekever since October 2013, managing TEKEVER Space PA for ESA projects, including PROBA-3, HERA, and Comet Interceptor, and participating in quality meetings for the INFANTE project. As an Electrical Engineer, Carlos contributed to the development of the GAMALINK protocol and was responsible for technical documentation. Additionally, Carlos serves as a Delegate for the Portuguese Handball Federation since November 2014, representing the federation during matches and observing referees. From August 2002 to July 2020, Carlos was part of the Referees Department at Associação de Andebol de Aveiro, overseeing referees' training and activities, and held the position of National Referee at the Portuguese Handball Federation from August 1999 to July 2014, achieving elite referee status between 2001 and 2014. Carlos holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
