Pia Sandvik

Pia Sandvik currently serves as the CEO of Teknikföretagen since September 2023 and holds the position of Governing Member of the Board at EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology as well as a Fellow and Board Member at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Sandvik has been a board member at Prevas AB and Almi Företagspartner since 2018 and 2017, respectively. From 2009 to September 2023, Sandvik was the CEO of RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB, additionally serving as Chairman and Board Member during that time. Prior roles include Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan from 2017 to 2023, and CEO of Länsförsäkringar from 2010 to 2016. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Quality Control Technology from Linköping University and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, as well as a current role as Associate Professor at Luleå University of Technology.
