Jorge Villalobos

Jorge Villalobos is currently a Senior Consultant at Teknion Data Solutions. Jorge has over 8 years of experience in data management and business intelligence. Prior to their current position, Jorge was a Principal Consultant at Teknion Data Solutions from December 2014 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for providing technical solutions to clients, based on requirements and analysis of client’s capabilities. Jorge also has experience working as a Data Architect and DBA/Sr. Business Intelligence Developer. In these roles, they were responsible for assessing SQL environments, leading negotiations with Microsoft to comply with SQL Server licensing, presenting senior leadership with proposals for upgrading to SQL Server 2014 Enterprise, and guiding system engineers in the architecture of SQL Server virtualization. Jorge has also worked with business owners to gather requirements for implementing a data warehouse and assisted vendors in the implementation of new applications which require data integration.

Jorge Villalobos completed an Associate of Applied Science in Geographical Information Systems at Tarrant County College. Jorge then completed their education at The University of Texas at Arlington. Jorge Villalobos is certified as an Alteryx Certified Professional and as a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server 2012/2014.
