Mia Bacher Olsen (Distinction)

Mia Bacher Olsen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mia is currently working as the Group Product Management Director at Teknos since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Products at Maersk Drilling from March 2021 to November 2022, where they were responsible for building the Product Management function and leading the PM team. Mia also worked as the Owner & Managing Director at MBO Consult - Business Strategy Consultancy from February 2018 to December 2021, where they helped small and medium-sized businesses develop and implement business strategies.

Mia has significant experience in the field of product management. Mia worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Maersk Drilling from March 2019 to 2021 and as the Head of Product Management at Flügger A/S from August 2014 to November 2016. At Flügger A/S, they optimized the product assortment, built the Product Management function, and improved financial figures. Mia also worked as a Senior Group Product Manager at PPG Industries from January 2012 to July 2014 and as a Senior Group Product Manager at Dyrup A/S from April 2007 to January 2012, where they were responsible for improving profitability and implementing product strategies.

Mia started their career at Ferroperm Piezoceramics as an Engineer from 1997 to 1999 and later worked as a Project Manager/Technical Trainee at Hempel from August 1999 to January 2002. Mia holds an MBA with Distinction.

Mia Bacher Olsen, MBA (Distinction), graduated with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Henley Business School in the years 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry and Materials from DTU - Technical University of Denmark between 1989 and 1996.
