Peter Tao

Peter Tao has over 25 years of progressive experience executing, managing, and delivering diverse information technology federal contracts. He began his career as an information technology specialist working for the Department of Defense and supported the Office Under the Secretary of Defense and Ballistic Missile Defense. In 1997, he joined the Department of State as a technical engineer to lead and support the modernization of global networks, systems, and applications across the foreign affairs community. Over the years, Mr. Tao continues to build upon and strengthen relationships within the Foreign Affairs domain and across other federal agencies.

As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Tao is responsible for building and growing relationships across the Foreign Affairs community, the Department of Homeland Security, and other federal government civilian agencies. He has deep industry and functional leadership skills across competencies in application development, network and system engineering, cybersecurity, and customer end-user support services. Over his career, Mr. Tao has led or assisted the business development and capture to win over $1.5B in contract awards.
