Boaz Barak

Boaz Barak is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University since August 2017. Prior to this role, Boaz Barak was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from December 2012 to October 2017, focusing on the neurobiology of social behavior abnormalities in Williams syndrome and autism spectrum disorder. Earlier research positions include roles as a Researcher at the National Institutes of Health in 2011, and as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Boaz Barak holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology, an MBA specializing in Entrepreneurship from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
