Livnat Afriat Jurnou

Livnat Afriat Jurnou is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in biochemistry and microbial metabolic pathways. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University since October 2024, Livnat previously led a research group at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute from July 2017 to October 2024. Additionally, a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at Tel-Hai College between October 2016 and October 2024, Livnat undertook post-doctoral research at the Australian National University from March 2012 to November 2013 in the laboratory of Dr. Colin Jackson. Livnat holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where studies were conducted from 2007 to 2011, preceded by a Master of Science in Biochemistry (2004-2006) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Tel Aviv University (2001-2003).
