Omer Harel

Omer Harel is currently serving as a Lab Manager and Researcher in Chemical Protein Synthesis of Artificial Transcription Factors at Tel Aviv University since February 2022, focusing on repressing oncogene expression. Additionally, Omer holds positions as a Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry and an Instructor at the Tel Aviv Youth University, along with delivering a biochemistry course for middle school students. Prior experience includes working at IntSights, a Rapid7 company, in various roles related to cyber intelligence and technical support from October 2018 to April 2024, and serving in the Israeli Military Intelligence from February 2016 to October 2018, culminating as Head of the Intelligence Analysts Department in Unit 8200. Omer is pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Tel Aviv University, anticipated to complete in 2027, and previously earned a degree in Chemistry and Life Sciences from the same institution in 2022.
