Omer Maayany Laor

Omer Maayany Laor is currently an MSc Student in Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, starting in November 2024. Previously, Omer worked as a Control Engineer at EVR Motors from July 2023 to November 2024 and as a Robotics Engineer at Grove-Y from September 2022 to June 2023. Omer gained experience as a Back End Engineer at Intel Corporation from November 2021 to July 2022 and served as an Officer in the Israel Defense Forces from July 2017 to August 2018, acting as a Personal Assistant to the Head of the Strategic Division in the Planning Department. Prior military service includes a role as a Pilot, Commander, and flight instructor in the Israeli Air Force from April 2010 to July 2017. Omer holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University (2019-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government with Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2007-2009).
