Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith is an established 30-year medical device executive with proven performance in both start-up and Fortune 500 organizations. At TELA Bio, Mr. Smith has built and managed a national sales and commercial operations team from the ground up. Prior to TELA Bio, Mr. Smith spent 7 years with Orthovita (Stryker) where he advanced to the position of Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, leading 160 direct and independent representatives and the Regional Manager team. At Orthovita (Stryker), Mr. Smith propelled year-over-year revenue to consistently exceed expectations, from an early start up medical device company to liquidation. Mr. Smith started his professional career in healthcare at Medtronic, Inc.
