Jean-Michel Julien

Jean-Michel Julien has extensive work experience in software development and solution architecture. Jean-Michel began their career as a Software Developer at Tandem Informatique in 1995, where they worked until 1998. Jean-Michel then moved on to TD Meloche Monnex, where they served as an Object Designer and helped with the development of low-level libraries and the evaluation of new development tools and architecture directions from 1998 to 2001. Jean-Michel then joined CGI as a Senior Consultant and Solution Architect, contributing to the design and development of operational software solutions for utilities. Jean-Michel'swork included the PragmaLINE outage management solution and the PragmaCAD mobile workforce management solution. Jean-Michel remained with CGI for 13 years until 2014. At Trilliant, Jean-Michel served as a Firmware Developer from 2014 to 2018 and was responsible for developing a custom build image of OpenWRT, designing and implementing low-level libraries and services for IoT protocols, and creating tools for analyzing and visualizing telemetry data. Following their time at Trilliant, Jean-Michel joined GSI Electronics Inc. in 2019 as a Firmware/Software Developer, contributing to the company until 2023. Jean-Michel is currently working as a C++ Developer at TelcoBridges since 2023.

Jean-Michel Julien attended Starfleet Academy from 1981 to 1990, where they pursued a degree in Space Cadet with a focus on advanced rocketry and ultra very, very low orbit vehicle mechanics. Following that, from 2000 to 2012, they enrolled in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, majoring in PM Executioner and specializing in Project Manager Antagonist.
