Joaquin Cidoncha Puebla is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology and Operations Officer for Cyber Security & Cloud at Telefónica Tech since April 2022. With a career at Telefónica spanning over 15 years, Joaquin has held several leadership roles, including Global Director of Technology and Cloud Operations, where responsibilities included increasing the operational scope for various regions. Joaquin’s expertise encompasses end-to-end service management, architecture strategies, and the delivery of cloud services, as well as managing IT security and cybersecurity operations. Joaquin’s background also includes significant leadership positions in IT operations, production service management, and software engineering across multiple divisions within Telefónica and Telefónica Moviles. Joaquin holds a Senior Management Program degree from IE Business School and has an educational foundation from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
